I have been reading Jason's postings with interest, and have come to a conclusion that I have been ripped off!
I have been a Freemason for 14 years, I am a Past Master of my Lodge, a Past First Principal in my Royal Arch Chapter (the so called Higher Order), and am currently a Grand Steward in the ceremonial team of the UGL of NSW & ACT. So, you see, I am quite well into it ...... AND NO-ONE HAS TOLD ME THE SECRET THAT IS KNOWN ONLY TO FREEMASONS!!!
For crying out 'loud here .... there is this secret that all Freemasons know about .... all the millions of us around the world .... and no-one has bothered telling me what it is. I'VE BEEN RIPPED OFF JASON!!!!
But then again, it may be because I am stupid. I watched the Da Vinci Code movie and the word "Masonic" was only mentioned ONCE! But everyone tells me that the movie is full of Masonic references. Oh yeah, and I have been to Rosslyn Chapel. Nice Place. Not too Masonic but! Maybe they have not told me because I don't fit the profile of a Mason - I haven't terrorised anyone in the last week because they have worked out "the secret". I have not initiated a conspiracy in the last 14 years! I'm not a good Mason - is that it?
WAKE UP, JASON - GET THIS NOTION ABOUT FREEMASONS OUT OF YOU HEAD! DON'T BLAME US FOR EVERY LITTLE NOTION THAT YOUR FEEBLE MIND IS UNABLE TO EXPLAIN TO ITSELF AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT AT SOME STAGE IN YOUR LIFE YOU EITHER HAVE, OR WILL, BENEFIT FROM THE QUIET WORK THAT FREEMASONS DO IN SOCIETY.
.... and by the way, if you want to be rational about it, I will gladly explain what it is that we REALLY do. But if you want to continue ion this path of Conspiracy Theories, thern I am glad to leave you in your own little world!
I'm not sure, nor do I care, about some "Masonic Secret" you feel you were denied. Then again, this is probably something you stated because you believe I would agree with it
I am not interested in becoming a Mason. -I have had far too many negative encounters this past year. Plus, it goes against my own personal integrity. What I would like other's to understand is that prior to 2005 I had no negative opinions of Freemasons or any other secret group.
My speaking out is based upon my experiences of harassment. I want to warn others before they experience the same.
I have no grand "Conspiracy Theory".
I found something, I talked about it at work, I was harassed and stalked. Period.
As a result of GangStalking I was forced to quit my job, move out of my apartment, and eventualy lose my vehicle. I have since learned that this is standard treatment of individuals in Freemasonry and other groups.
I don't need to speak to you "rationally" concerning Freemasonry. My experiences have proved to me beyond all doubt that Masonry is not for me, nor shall I recomend it if asked my opinion by another. Any group that stalks, harasses, and lies to people, especialy when their reputation has already greatly suffered because of prior accusations of just that, should be be avoided at all costs.
I previously replied in this exact space, but have deleted such as in retrospect it seemed far to speculative with regard to the original authors post.
I believe my first reply above is a fair expression of my feelings, so obviously it shall remain.
